ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,755,144 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 27 December 2021 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 14,755,144 Covid-19 cases, this includes 302,908 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,261,759 people (144,055 deaths)
- Philippines: 2,838,640 people (51,200 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,741,179 people (31,334 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,212,407 people (21,598 deaths)
- Vietnam: 1,651,673 people (31,214 deaths)
- Myanmar: 529,613 people (19,254 deaths)
- Singapore: 277,764 people (822 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,449 people (3,008 deaths)
- Laos: 106,231 people (325 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,429 people (98 deaths)
